In an effort to raise money for this trip for Corbin, our 15 year old son, I've decided to do "Pet Portraits". I have done portraits for friends and relatives in the past as gifts and have been asked several times to do others but was more focused on my etchings and my "en plein air" paintings but have decided this may be a good time to do commissioned art. I will work from good quaintly photos of your pet and create a color pencil drawing on a good quality colored pastel paper. If you live locally I will come to your house to photograph your pet if you do not have good photos for a small additional fee. The cost for the colored pencil sketch is $200 matted and framed (second image down is an example of how they look framed). If you would like an oil painting on canvas that will be $800 or $1000 framed. I'm very good at catching your pet's personality and you must be satisfied with art or I will not charge you or try again. So far though, they have been VERY popular!
